Our journey began in 2019 when Mark Howe-Senior founded Howe2 Training & Consultancy. Initially operating as a self-employed entity, our rapid growth led to the establishment of our limited company status in 2022, registered at Companies House under company number 14018143.

At the heart of our business is a commitment to delivering high-quality training and consultancy services in the health and social care sector. Inspired by our founder’s vision, we aim to transcend the conventional "bums on seats" culture by offering meaningful, real-life training experiences. The company name, a play on Mark’s original surname "Howe" and the number two, reflects our ethos of guidance and practical learning.

Our growth story is a testament to resilience and excellence. Despite the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, which hit us just a year into our inception, we have expanded our services across children's and adult social care, healthcare, and other sectors. Our dedication to real-life training, delivered by professionals with extensive experience, has earned us accolades such as the Health & Social Care Consultancy of the Year 2024, Diversity & Neurodiversity Excellence Awards 2024, and Best Nationwide Health & Social Care Training Company 2023 from SME News Midlands Enterprise Awards.

Mark Howe-Senior
Owner / Director

Over thirty years of experience within the education, health, and social care sectors has enabled Mark to build and deliver over 100 face-to-face subjects, and this list continues to grow. He also plays an integral role in training needs analysis for various businesses. Mark, who has a diagnosis of ASD / ASC (Autism) and ADHD, will regularly talk and post about his life, living with these conditions, to challenge and debunk often published negative myths and stereotypes associated with them.

Lulu
Administrator #1

Lulu, the eldest at six and a half years old (born on Christmas Day), holds the title of Administrator Number 1. Though she can be quite timid at times, she is an enthusiastic guardian of the office, often yapping away at seemingly nothing. Lulu diligently supports the business on office days, observing all the work from her bed. Occasionally, she interrupts Mark to ensure he takes a break, so she can sit on his knee instead. Her job description encompasses loyalty, companionship, and supporting the business in various ways as needed.

Twiggy
Administrator #2

Twiggy, the youngest at one year old (born on June 6th), is Administrator Number 2. Unlike Lulu, Twiggy is far from timid. She loves having lots of toys out, usually all at once. Though she rarely barks, her voice comes out strongly when she spots a cat, especially in her gardens. Twiggy keeps the owner on his toes with her energetic and playful nature. As an intelligent Jack-a-poo, she learns quickly and efficiently. Her job description includes faithfulness, energy, and supporting the business in various ways as needed.
